THE ROLE

Newkey Consulting is partnering with a leading principal contractor delivering a major utilities infrastructure upgrade on the Central Coast, NSW.

As Commissioning Manager, you will lead the end-to-end commissioning of critical water and wastewater infrastructure, ensuring facilities are safely commissioned, fully operational, and ready for client handover. You'll oversee the commissioning lifecycle across pumping stations, inlet works, screens, wash presses, bioreactors, blowers, clarifiers, dewatering systems, and associated infrastructure, managing activities through mechanical and electrical completion through dry and wet testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, performance testing, proving, operator training, and final handover. Working closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors, you'll ensure all systems are delivered in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and operational requirements, supported by complete commissioning documentation and integrated testing (ITC) processes.

ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced Commissioning Manager with a proven track record of overseeing commissioning activities of similar type/size of sewage treatment plants upwards of >30 MLD.

You thrive in complex project environments, have a strong focus on safety, quality and stakeholder management, and are confident leading multidisciplinary teams through the full commissioning lifecycle.
